July 1st in the Tri-Cities

Coquitlam Celebrates Canada Day 2018 (free admission)

Where and When?

  •  Town Centre Park starting at noon

What to Do?

  • Watch the parade
  • Grab lunch on Eat Street
  • Lounge on The Watering Whole’s patio and drink craft beer
  • Take the kids to Adventure Park for Hungry Hippo Chow Down, a challenging climbing wall, and more
  • Enjoy musical acts, including children’s entertainer, Will Stroet

Golden Spike Days in Port Moody (admission by donation)

Where and When?

  • Rocky Point Park from June 29th to July 2nd

What to Do?

  • Check out Canada Day-only events like:
    • Barney Bentall & The Legendary Hearts performing at 9 p.m.
    • 1 km Kids Fun Run starting at 8:30 am ($2 donation; must sign up before June 29th)
    • 5 km Family Fun Run starting at 9:15 am ($20 donation; must sign up before June 29th)
  • Multi-day events like:
    • Free boat tours up Indian Arm
    • The Paw Squad Agility Event

Canada Day in Port Coquitlam (admission by donation)

Where and When?

  •  Lion’s Park starting at 8 a.m.

  • Have a pancake breakfast
  • Take kids 10 and under to the free fishing derby and the Children’s Activity Zone, featuring the ever-popular bouncy castle
  • Support the BC Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund and get a salmon BBQ meal for only $10
  • Stick around for live entertainment and fireworks at dusk

July 1st in Fort Langley and Langley

Canada Day in Fort Langley (free admission to Old Fort Langley)

  • King Street 11 am to 3 pm

  • Pan for gold
  • Watch a blacksmith in action
  • Check out the First Nations Art Exhibit
  • Cheer on the wheelbarrow racers
  • Taste some Canada Day cake

Willoughby Canada Day (free admission)

  • Willoughby Community Park 11 am to 6 pm

  • Pick up some fresh produce at a mini version of the Langley Community Farmers’ Market
  • Hop aboard Pacific Trackless Trains
  • Take the children to A Kids’ Zone where they can do arts and crafts and play a few rounds of mini golf

  • Grab a bite at one of the food trucks on site

Langley Canada Day Celebrations

Canada Day at Willowbrook Shopping Centre

Friday, July 1st, 2016
11am – 6pm

Location: Willobrook Shopping Centre
Admission: Free

Wear red and white for your chance to win a free Vancouver Canadians Baseball ticket! Summer music with an in-house DJ and Langley Little League will be giving away ice cream by donation in support of the Vancouver Canadians Baseball Foundation. Learn more here.
